This three-day course is intended for those who have responsibility for the design, erection, and initial verification of electrical installations and will be assessed by a 3 hour written exam and a 40 hour project.

About this course
• Statutory duties and safe working practices
• BS7671 requirements for electrical installation design
• Fundamental principles for design and installation of associated protective systems relating to electrical installations
• Factors that affect choice of sources and environmental technologies used within electrical installation design
• Design and verification procedures for single and poly phase electrical installations
• Preparation for the written exam and project.
Personnel in electrical contracting companies who have responsibility for the quality of the design, specification, installation and testing process.
A current IET Wiring Regulations Certificate (C&G 2382) plus Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations (C&G 2394) and or Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (C&G 2395) .
You must bring with you the current IET Wiring Regulations and Guidance Note No. 1 and No. 3 publications.
