Copyright & copycats : protecting your work in the creative industries

New self-access course focused on copyright protection and exploitation of creative works - introductory price of only £65!

This new online course is for you if:

you work in a creative job
you create works to sell
you run a creative business

The course will teach you about copyright and other forms of intellectual property:

how to protect yours
how to respect other people's.

The course will help you understand the law on copyright and related rights in the UK, as relevant to the creative industries. It highlights the scope, impact and application of these rights within different areas of creative practice, and explores copyright issues of particular concern.

Module materials are rich and relevant, with many examples and case studies from real practice, and opportunities to test learning through quizzes and reflective activities.

The course is taken online on a 'self-access' basis, meaning that you can dip in whenever you like, and work through the materials at your own pace. All you will need is a computer with internet access. You will have two months to complete the course, and at the end you will receive a certificate of completion and a CD of course materials for future reference.

This course is available for a fee of £65.
