Today digital camera technology is matured to the point where feature films are being made with this medium. The cinematographer is responsible for achieving the artistic and technical decisions needed to makes images for film that convey a story, its mood and its world. To do so, the cinematographer must master the use of light, cameras, grip equipment, the rules of composition and continuity as well as understanding the principal of storytelling, editing and film language.
