About this course
Candidates will complete a number of units covering Health & Safety, Generation & Earthing Systems, Renewable Energy, Domestic Circuit Arrangements, Circuit Protection, Inspection & Testing, Fault Diagnosis and Part P. This is supported by tutorials and practical installations of domestic circuits
Candidates will be required to complete an end of unit assessment PLUS gather evidence from the workplace of a domestic dwelling
Learners must have the potential to achieve the assessment criteria set out in the units.

Candidates will explore and discover the typical topic areas that are involved in domestic wiring which include Health & Safety, Generation & Earthing Systems, Renewable Energy, Domestic Circuit Arrangements, Circuit Protection, Inspection & Testing, Fault Diagnosis and Part P.
Delegates will produce drawings of typical domestic circuits and work to these drawings to wire typical circuits that are found in domestic installations.
Classroom back theory cover the principles of electrical circuits and the regulations associated with domestic wiring and legislation and responsibilities including Part P and notification procedures
