Full-Time AS Business Studies

AS Business StudiesCourse Outline
This is a one year course leading to an A Level in Business Studies. Students will study three units covering a range of topics. This course can be studied full-time or part-time.

Entry requirements
To study AS Business Studies GCSE Mathematics and English is desirable. An interview with the Course Tutor is required.

What will I study?
You will study; Marketing; Accounts & Finance; External Influences; Management of People and Operations Management.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by examination in three separate units. There is no course work.

Career Opportunities & Progression
The course will provide a suitable foundation for the A2 Business course and other related areas of study, for example Geography, Law, Mathematics, and the Social Sciences. It also prepares students for future employment in areas such as business, marketing, accounting, local and national government, banking and insurance.
