Entry Requirements
Applicants must have a National Diploma in Construction or a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Construction, or National Certificate in Building Studies, or 1 GCE ‘A’ Level, together with passes in at least 4 subjects at GCSE level including Mathematics, English and Science. Mature candidates with relevant industrial experience will be considered on merit. Demand for this course is very high so early application is advised.

Course Aims

To provide the construction industry with higher level technicians who possess the necessary technical, managerial, analytical and personal skills to operate effectively as a team member in one of the Built Environment professions.

Industrial placement in Year 2 of the course (optional).

50% assignment work 50% examination.

Level 5 BTEC Higher National Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment.

Degree courses in the Built Environment or employment.
