I enjoyed the study and the chance to work with like minded people. However the top up degree that was promised at the end of the 3 years never came to any thing. at the minute there seems to be nowhere in ni that offers a top up award. I have been trying to get transcripts of the course in order to top up to a degree with Open university but noone answers my queries.

History
On 1st August, 2007, Northern Ireland’s 16 colleges of further education merged to create 6 ‘super’ colleges which are larger, cover a more diverse area, and offer wider course ranges and better facilities to all their students. It is the most significant development in Northern Ireland’s 100-year history of further education. The introduction of these 6 new ‘super’ colleges in Northern Ireland has also been beneficial to Northern Ireland’s business sector since further education is now seen as critical in supporting business and industry in Northern Ireland. Northern Regional College was created when Causeway Institute, North East Institute and East Antrim Institute merged.
