Applicants must have NVQ level 2 in Beauty Therapy.

Course Content
Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety Promote additional products or services to clients Contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business Epilate the hair follicle using diathermy, galvanic and blend techniques Provide head and body massage treatments Improve body condition using electrotherapy Improve face and skin condition using electrotherapy Enhance the appearance of natural nails using artificial nail systems Maintain, repair and enhance artificial nail structures. If you are accepted onto this course without a Grade C or above in Maths and/or English you will be required to complete the relevant Essential Skills qualification. This will be a compulsory part of your timetable.
Course Aims
To provide the highest level of NVQ available in Beauty Therapy.
Special Features
(Subject to location) Additional courses are offered to enhance and compliment the mandatory units to facilitate industrial requirements. e.g. St Tropez ultimate airbrush tanning, nail art, advanced Dermalogica product training, hot stone massage training.
Assessment Methods
Practical assessment, written and oral. Portfolio of evidence demonstrating that competence has been achieved.

Gain employment or HND.
