Course programme
The course is designed for students with woodworking skills that would like access to a fully equipped workshop and experienced supervision to develop their own projects. Some students progress to City and Guilds Furniture Courses.
Different areas will be addressed according to the needs of individual students. These will usually cover: Safe working practices, hand tools techniques, power tools, finishing techniques, fitting hinges and locks, basic machine training. It is usually not possible to store components and pieces on site and students need to be aware that they will have to take away their materials at the end of each session.
