Course programme

An intensive course to give the novice gardener the confidence and skill to create and maintain a healthy garden. Learn how plants work and what they need to survive plus advice on where to begin. Step-by-step techniques cover everything from sowing seeds and arranging plants in a border, to laying a lawn and pruning. Our aim is to give you the confidence to plan and plant your garden and deal with problems such as weeds, pests and diseases. A hands-on workshop limited to 20 participants.

4 days (1 day a week)

Additional information

Payment options: Course fee includes lunch. A deposit of £250 secures the place, the balance of fees being due six weeks prior to the start of the course. For credit card bookings, the balance will be automatically charged to your card when it is due, unless payment is already received. Students paying by cheque will be contacted at the six-week deadline.
