3. Entry requirements You need just a little basic German or to have attended a short course. A willingness to set personal targets for your development in German is required. 4. Equipment required I willingness to participate in pair and group work as well as the understanding of practising aloud during class. The tutor will provide any necessary hand-outs, although other texts maybe recommended. 5. Assessment method The course will comprise of a mixture of group work, pair work; engaging individual activities with the use of the VLE, the Internet and visual resources. The emphasis will be on Speaking and Listening however, a limited number of German phrases will be taught.
