Course Description
Designed to enable adults with no formal qualifications (particularly those who have been away from education for a period of time) to prepare in one year for entry into a Degree course in Nursing Studies, Radiography, Human Nutrition, Podiatry. Successful students are GUARANTEED a place on a higher education course although not necessarily at the institution of their first choice.

Preferred Entry Requirements
Access courses provide support and guidance to help adults return to learning and to choose the most appropriate route to Higher Education. There are no formal entry requirements and admission is by informal interview.

Biology Chemistry Physics (for Radiography) Mathematics Communication Study Skills Computing.

Progression
BA Nursing Studies, BSc Radiography, BSc Human Nutrition, BSc Podiatry, BSc Health Science at the University of the West of Scotland, Dip HE Operating Department Practice at Glasgow Caledonian University or other Universities.
