About this course
For the Higher National Certificate/Diploma and Foundation Degree these are one of the following:-
* 2 relevant ‘A' levels at grade E or above
* Advanced VCE ICT
* BTEC National Certificate
Overseas students will require an IELTS Level 5.5 in addition to the above entry requirements.

How long are the courses?
Both the HNC/HND and Foundation Degree are flexible two-year part time or full-time courses. Upon successful completion of the first year, students enrolled on the HNC/HND route are awarded an HNC qualification.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment will be a combination of assignments and examinations. Each of the units covered in the courses will carry assignments, all of which must be completed to the required standard within a given deadline for an award to be given. The Higher National qualifications are graded Pass, Merit or Distinction.
What progression opportunities are open to me?
Both the Foundation Degree and the HND are nationally recognized qualifications. Upon successful completion, admission onto the second year of a BEng or third year of a BSc degree may be possible. The college has progression routes to various University degrees.
