Course Title: Induction Standards

Overview:

This course will benefit all new staff in health and social care setting and can lead onto NVQ level 2 in care.

Course Content:

The course consists of 6 Common Induction Standards:

1. Understand the principles of care
2. Understand the organisation and the role of the
worker
3. Maintain safety at work
4. Communicate effectively
5. Recognise and respond to abuse and neglect
6. Develop as a worker

• Portfolio of evidence

• Learners Workplace
• Venue to be Agreed

Course Duration: Various depending on method of delivery

Certificate: At the end of the session, learners will be issued with a
Certificate of Attendance which can be referenced to the Health and Social Care NVQ's.
