About this course
To attend the InDesign training course you should have experience using either the Windows or Mac interface and be capable of basic file management. No previous design software skills or experience is required, but a basic knowledge of any graphic design or Adobe software is a useful starting point.

Tilky has been working as a professional graphic designer for 15 years and has experience in both the private and public sector. She earned her BFA in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. After spending some time at an advertising agency in Miami, Florida, she transitioned to an in-house role at a large US engineering firm where she specialized in corporate identity branding and print design for marketing campaigns and various publications.

The InDesign training course will guide you through the workspace allowing you to create and store the screen setup for the way you like to work or to allow you to define layouts for any task you will undertake. A short practice with a working document that already includes styles, text, structure and images will give you a good understanding of the properties, views and many of the editing tools to provide you with an overview of the potential of this highly capable piece of software.
