Medetrain provides a 1-day, hands-on certified Botox® Training / Vistabel®
Training Course. During the training course areas covered include:
Background and history of Botulinum Toxins, applications and differences
are covered. The mechanism of action preparation and use are discussed.
The relevant facial anatomy is described and related to techniques of use.
The issues of client consultation and consent including the current
considerations of safety of Botox® / Vistabel® are discussed.
During
the Botox® training course you will have the opportunity to observe the
injection of Botox® / Vistabel® in a live model and also have hands-on
experience of injecting Botox® / Vistabel® in suitable models. You are
guaranteed hands on experience with your selected model.
During the
course developing your Botox® / Vistabel® practice will also be discussed,
and you will be able to discuss your questions with our experienced tutors
on the Botox® Training / Vistabel® Training Course.

ModelsYou are required to bring your own model for the training
course practical session in the afternoon. Please view our information
page for details on selecting your model. You can also download a patient
information leaflet for your model to read through prior to their
treatment.
Who can attend the Botox® Training courseThe courses are open
to Doctors, Nurses, Dentist and Surgeons. Other medical professionals can
apply and their applications are assessed on an individual basis. It is
important to note that Botox® is a prescription drug only therefore nurses
will need to be affiliated to a medical professional who can prescribe for
their clients. Please see the information page where further information
and links are provided.
Training course FeeThe Botox® Training course fee is £695.00 this
includes cd-rom with all of the course information and medical history and
consent form templates, 50 unit vistabel® for the practical session,
Course certificate (which is recognised by the two leading aesthetic
insurance companies in the UK Hamilton Frazier & Ceart), lunch and
refreshments throughout the day. This fee is reduced to £650.00 if booking
3 or more weeks in advance of the course.
Course PaymentMethods of payment include cheque, debit or credit
cards are also accepted. Please post cheques
CancellationsCan be made 2 weeks or more prior to the training
course, however there will be an administration fee of £50 deducted from
the refund. If cancelling less than 2 weeks in advance of the course a
refund will only be made if your place can be filled.
Programme ChangesMed
E Train reserves the right to make amendments to the training course which
includes cancellation without prior notice. Refunds due to cancellation by
Med E Train are limited to the training course fee paid only.
InsuranceMed E Train provide insurance for your practical training
on the day.
