Level 3 : AS/A Level ICT Applied (OCR)

Who is the course for?
Students coming in with standard A level entry requirements, including a minimum grade 'C' in English, and wishing to develop a comprehensive set of advanced IT application skills, useful for a range of future study and career options, should choose this course. Students studying Maths and/or Physics at Wyke and interested in the technical aspects of computing and seeking a future career in computer systems, software engineering or other branches of engineering would best suit the Computing course.

Along with the full suite of Microsoft Office applications, IT students at Wyke will have the opportunity to develop skills using the very latest web, graphics and interactive development applications, including the industry-standard Adobe Creative Suite , which includes Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver.
