The course includes:

•Accounts preparation 1 - development of double entry skills to deal with year end procedures

•Accounts preparation 2 - preparing final accounts for sole traders and partnerships

•Cash Management -preparing cash budgets and sourcing appropriate finance

•Costs and Revenues - producing costings for products/services and using information to take decisions

•Indirect Tax - VAT and the preparation of the VAT return

•Professional Ethics in Accounting and Finance

•Spreadsheets - fundamentals of effectively using spreadsheets to manipulate financial information

Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or significant manual double entry experience with a working knowledge of a computerised accounts system
