Course programme
If you are new to Mulligan techniques or you want a good revision, then this is a hands on practically orientated 2 day course for HPC Registered Chartered Physiotherapists. At this course you will be introduced to the concept and use of NAG's, SNAG's and Mobilisations with Movement in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions as developed by Mr. Brian Mulligan of New Zealand. If you have been using these techniques for a while you will pick on any new developments and additional techniques recently added.
You will not be sitting down for too long as the course consists of short lectures and plenty of practical sessions. Participant numbers are limited to a maximum of 18.
Once you have covered the underpining theory, you will then learn and refine your technique in the use of spinal NAG's and SNAG's in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. These will then be extended further to include the use of peripheral MWM's for the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, hip, knee and foot and ankle. You will leave with a vastly expanded repertoire of hands on techniques which you can adapt for a huge variety of your patients, whatever your clinical area.
The tutor Ed is an Accredited Mulligan Concept Teacher and a member of the Mulligan Concept Teachers Association. Please note that for any courses advertised as teaching Mulligan techniques, NAGS, SNAGS, MWM's etc the tutor needs to be a member, this is indicated by them having the letters MCTA after their name.
