Music HNC/HND

In Year One you will study Units including: Music Performance Studies, Harmony and Composition and Composition for Film and Television. You will partake in live performance both in an ensemble and a soloist. There is also the opportunity to travel to Spain to take part in the production of a film, for which you will then compose and perform the score. In year two you will study Units including: Harmony and Arranging, Music Studio Production and Improvising. You will also work towards an ensemble project culminating in a large scale concert. This is a collaborative project with students from the other courses and is a great opportunity to develop your project management skills and professional experience. You will also work on the audio post-production and score for a short film, culminating in a premiere at the National Media Museum.
