NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
The course involves study days one day per month - typically on a Saturday - as well as observation in the workplace. Learners then plan a programme of development and assessment with their assessor and compile a portfolio of evidence to prove that they are competent and knowledgeable in their work role. Learners must already either be employed or in a practical placement for the whole period of the qualification.
