About this course
Ideally candidates will be qualified to A - Level, or possibly degree level. If you want to choose the V1 unit in this qualification, you must have the A1 Assessors Award and have held this for 12 months.

Thank you for choosing I Matter Training LTD for you chosen career. This course is designed for people managing learning and development. People who complete this qualification are HR Managers, Personnel Managers, NVQ Assessors, Senior Training Officers, Lecturers, Tutors, Programme Managers and many more.
To successfully complete this qualification, candidates must complete eight mandatory units including either units L3 or L2 and four optional units.
Mandatory Units:
- Contribute to the development of learning within the organisation
- Evaluate and develop own practice
- Design learning programmes
- Agree learning programmes with learners
- Manage the contribution of other people to the learning process
- Create a climate that promotes learning
- Evaluate and improve learning and development programmes
Choose either of the following units:
- Identify individual learning aims and programmes
- Identify learning & development needs of the orgranisation
Optional Units Available:
- Prepare and develop resources to support learning
- Enable group learning
- Support learners by mentoring in the workplace
- Support and advise individual learners
- Monitor and review progress with learners
- Respond to changes in learning & development
- Provide learning & development in international settings
- Plan how to provide basic skills in the workplace
- Introduce training for basic skills in the workplace
- Assess candidates using a range of methods
- Assess candidates' performance through observation
- Conduct internal quality assurance of the assessment process
