To teach the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to operators Order Pickers (medium and high level). Where required, to provide specific job training in both related job safety knowledge and practical skill applications for these types of machines. At the course end successful delegates should be able to operate their machines both safely and efficiently.

Course Summary

Learn how to safely and efficiently operate an Order Picker.

On completion of the course you will understand the statutory requirements and the need for safety training. The course covers machine introduction, control familiarisation and practice, daily checks, basic and advanced manoeuvring, load handling and order picking practice, site safety codes and rules and much more.

As a record of your achievement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.

1-5 days, depending upon delegates’ previous operating experience.

Staff Instructors

All Staff Instructors are registered and certificated by the appropriate Accrediting Body and are also experienced, trained & certificated operators for the type of machine on which they instruct.

Payment options: Within 20 mile radius from our Training Centre in Coventry Daily Instructor Rate - Weekdays £290.00 Daily Instructor Rate - Weekends £325.00 £15 daily fuel charge £5 administration fee per certificate Over 20 mile radius from our Training Centre in Coventry (UK mainland) Daily Instructor Rate - Weekdays £290.00 Daily Instructor Rate - Weekends £325.00 Round trip mileage charge of 40p per mile. £5 administration fee per certificate An overnight subsistence charge is made to cover our Instructor's accommodation for all courses over 80 miles from our offices in Coventry. Instructor Overnight Accommodation (per night). £85.00 Overnight Accommodation London and South East Area (per night) £125.00 PLEASE NOTE: Where applicable all courses will be strictly subject to the statutory instructor to trainee ratios.
