Modules
LEVEL 1 - Beginners:- Identifying the parts of a digital camera, body, lens, flash. Understand the fundamentals of photograph composition, exposure control, camera types etc.; Storage media and file types, Smart Card, Compact Flash, JPEG, TIFF, Handling and activating a digital camera, Capturing images- camera settings, Transferring and saving your images on the computer using software, file management software. LEVEL 2 - Intermediate: - Understanding camera controls - mode settings, resolution; Discuss advantages/limitations of conventional and digital photography; Introduction to photo manipulation software; Basic photo manipulation techniques - cropping, cloning, colour correction etc.; Produce a set of digitally enhanced photographs - printing, paper types.
