Who is the programme for? This programme is for anyone who has an interest in studying manufacturing engineering at a higher education level.

Entry to the Programme?
How is it assessed? All units are assessed by a selected combination of assignments, phase tests, laboratory work, classwork, case studies and formal end of session written examinations.
Future prospects? The Higher National Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering provides learners with the skills demanded by industry. Further study will allow the learner to develop the necessary academic requirements for Higher Education and managerial qualifications.
When will the programme start? The programme will start in September 2010
How long will it take? This one-year part-time top-up programme requires attendance at College for one day and one evening per week, dependent upon modules already gained or alternatively two evening per week for two academic years.
