About this course

Applicants should possess GCSE passes at grade C or above in five subjects, or equivalent qualifications and must be at least 20 years of age at registration. Exemptions from this requirement may be given to mature candidates on written application to JEB. Candidates also need a minimum of Level 3 experience or a Level 2 qualification plus experience in their specialist subject/vocational area.

JEB CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATIONAL PRACTICE: ICT SKILLS

Who is this course for?

This course would be of interest to the following people:
  • Teachers who want to develop their ICT skills;
  • People who would like to teach part-time in an FE college or training organisation;
  • People who are involved in training as part of their job and who want to increase their confidence and skills.

Training will be given in the use of word processors, spreadsheets, databases, graphics, desk-top publishing and presentation packages. Background ICT theory will also be covered to allow the student to develop a full understanding of ICT concepts. Successful students can progress to the advanced level course or JEB Certificate in Educational Practice: ICT (Advanced).
