A Work Based Learning Pathway in Fashion is available to all 14 - 19 year olds. This is a two year course made up of units covering: Pattern Cutting, Sewing and Textiles. A Work Based Learning Pathway in Fashion is available to all 14 - 19 year olds. This is a two year course made up of units covering: Pattern Cutting, Sewing and Textiles. You will be given the opportunity to experience college life and working in industry. The Work Based Learning Pathway in Fashion is equivalent to studying 2 GCSE's. This is a credible alternative for students who prefer a more hands-on form of study. This course provides an opportunity for pupils to study in a college environment and the workplace. The work related experience gained by pupils will be of significant benefit in securing employment or access to further and higher education.
