What will I learn?
This intensive course is designed for modern apprentices and students new to plumbing. It provides students with the core technical knowledge and practical skills required to work at Level 2 as required by the industry. The course covers units such as health and safety, key principles, common plumbing processes, cold water systems, hot water systems, above ground discharge, central heating system pipework, electrical supply and earth continuity systems.

How will I be taught?
Assessment is carried out on-site by a qualified plumbing assessor who will offer guidance to the candidate on the achievement criteria required for completion of this qualification. Some meetings with candidates may be held at the Tottenham Centre.

How will I be assessed?
Course takes place at Tottenham Centre and on-site assessment placement/company.

How would this benefit my employer?
On completion of the NVQ Level 2 the candidate has evidenced competency in the workplace and is the basic plumbing offered by the sector skills council.
