This course suits those working in the plumbing and gas industry
who want to gain a Level 3 qualification.
What will I study?
This course includes the study of domestic gas supply systems,
installing and testing system components, sanitation systems and
domestic hot water systems.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to have completed an NVQ Level 2 and will be
invited to the College for an informal interview.
How will I be assessed?
Candidates for the NVQ need to be employed in the industry by a
company with a work-based recorder. Assessments are also carried
out on site to supplement the evidence provided by the Technical
Certificate. Students are required to sit knowledge assessments in
the form of multiple-choice papers covering each unit. These are
taken once the training in each subject area is complete.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
