Poultry Keeping Course

This poultry course is being held at Kirton Holme, Boston, Lincolnshire. The trainers have been breeding poultry for many years. This hands-on, practical course starts at 10:00am and finishes at 3:00pm and is open to anyone from those thinking about starting out with poultry to those who already have some experience. Topics covered will include:

* Different breeds for different needs
* Housing
* Feeding
* Sickness and medication
* Equipment
* Breeding

Delegates will be given plenty of opportunity to handle the birds, practice giving medication, look at a variety of suitable housing, learn about incubation and brooding. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout the day. Places are limited so book soon to avoid disappointment.
