The aim of this course is to enhance your existing practical skills and understanding of plants, shrubs, planting, cultivating, pruning, coppicing skills and gardening layouts enabling you to participate in local community horticulture projects. You will also take part in work experience in a range of horticultural environments. The course will also help improve your English and maths skills needed for this employment area.

Delivery and Assessment

This course is continual assessment and you will build a portfolio with the help of your tutor. Each section has a variety of units.
