Thai foot massage is a massage of the lower legs and feet, applying pressure to specific reflex points using a wooden Thai foot stick, and working on the meridian or sen lines to energise and create balance to the body

The treatment involves stretches and alternative massage techniques applied to the lower legs, feet, head, neck, shoulders and back and incorporates the use of the therapist’s elbows and feet
At the start of your day we will enhance your learning potential with some relaxation techniques and begin with the history and the cultural importance of the treatment
You will learn the techniques and the routine and how to adapt the treatment to your clients
We will cover contraindications for the treatment and also the benefits and effects of the ‘Thai Foot Massage’
The course will give you an underpinning knowledge of the meridian ‘sen’ lines and marma points to enable you to perform this treatment
This will give you a basic understanding with development potential on other courses
We will guide you through the consultation process and preparation for the treatments including products and equipment set up
Throughout the day you will receive help and guidance while you practice giving the treatments and also the opportunity as a therapist to receive a well deserved treatment! Enjoy learning this new skill in a relaxed atmosphere to improve your business potential
