What will I study?
All students take the three core units:
- The UK Travel and Tourism Industry
- UK Tourist Destinations
- Customer Service in Travel and Tourism
- Marketing in Travel and Tourism
- Planning Visits for Travel and Tourism
- European Holiday Destinations
What will I achieve?
A BTEC First Diploma is equivalent to four GCSE grades A*-C. It introduces you to the employment area you have chosen and provides a good basis to go on to a more advanced work-related qualification.
How is the course assessed?
There are no exams; you are assessed by completing projects and assignments in all units, to complete a full portfolio of evidence.
What else will I do?
You will have the opportunity to participate in a range of trips and excursions to support your study, including a residential visit.
