UAL Photography Extended Diploma

You will use a well-equipped darkroom, advanced digital facilities and a professional photographic studio Lessons are taught by highly-skilled, passionate and practicing photographers who will give you guidance and help you prepare a strong portfolio This course also runs photography trips to various locations, including overseas, giving you an invaluable opportunity to build your professional skills and personal approach to photography You will also develop skills and confidence in presenting and discussing your work, preparing you for university or work interviews

Through a programme of creative assignments, tutorials, group critical discussions and self-evaluation

The qualification lasts 2 years and will allow students to go on to a range of Higher Education courses The final unit of this course is available at Level 4, helping students to progress into Higher Education

Five GCSEs at grade A-C (including English and Art)

Art and Design run a series of live projects within the local and national community

You will spend up to four days a week in College and must also be prepared to undertake some additional independent study The College has a working studio where students produce images for real clients - this will allow you to gain valuable experience and confidence at producing images to a professional standard Art packs can be purchased for £45 Students can take part in enrichment trips which costs roughly £15 per trip
