What I would highlight: The teaching was poor. The course concentrates on rock bands only it is heavily against girls- a boys together attitude. The only thing that was good was the new college facilities however that is to change in September 2010

History

1947 heralded the start of Canterbury Technical College being established as a separate entity. This is when the decision to split further education classes from secondary school work was made.2006 - 2009January 2006 saw the appointment of Alison Clarke as Principal of Canterbury College. This was the year the college buildings were redesigned. 2007 saw the completion of Phase 1 of the buildings redevelopment, which included the new Children’s Centre, Technology Centre, Land Based Centre, Motor Vehicle Centre and the Post 16 Centre which houses modern class rooms, study rooms and science laboratories.Phase 2 of the redevelopment, completed in December 2007 gives the college a unique, street-like layout which has ‘front of house’ services open to the public including a snack shop, a travel shop and restaurant complete with training facilities.
