The 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course is the most basic, accredited First Aid course we offer at Siren Training. This course helps you meet the requirements set out in the Health and Safety regulations of 1981.

This 6 hour course is a great introduction to First Aid training. Learners will leave with the confidence to deal with emergency life threatening situations in a competent way. Our instructors are experts from the Emergency Services who have ‘been there and done it for real’

About this course

The (EFAW) Emergency First Aid at work course is recommended if you work in a “low risk”/office based environment.

The majority of our clients work in the following industries:

Corporate
Retail
Education
Low risk sports environment
Emergency First Aid training is the first step towards saving a life and may prove useful for any member of the general public. This first aid course also enables a company to comply with Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 by having the appropriate number of First Aiders in the workplace.

The trainers employed by Siren are presently working firefighters and paramedics. Each trainer has many years life saving experiences and techniques to share with you.

Following the successful completion of the 20 question multiple choice exam and each student is awarded with a HSE recognised certificate which is valid for 3 years. Under current guidelines it is strongly recommended that you renew your Emergency First Aid certificate once every 12 months through a half day refresher.

Our 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work training comes with a strong reputation for practicality. We only use Emergency service medical specialists to run our First Aid courses in London, or anywhere else in the UK for that matter. We pride ourselves on the range of practical First Aid skills you learn when on one of our First Aid courses in London.

We will ensure you have all the help you need to complete your 20 multiple choice question paper at the end of the day but our main focus is ensuring that you are confident enough in your First Aid ability. So confident that if something had to happen and you were asked to put your skills to use, you would have no hesitation in helping to save someone’s life.

Additional information

Our 1 day Emergency First Aid course in London runs for approximately 6 and a half hours. We like to start sharply at 10 am. Please try your best not to be late. Please arrive 15 min early to grab a cup of tea and a biscuit before we get started.
