2 Week Intensive Media Make-up & Hairstyling

This course offers students a masterclass in media make-up, incorporating basic hair styling and celebrity full looks. Taught by Celebrity Hair & Make up Stylist working within the Industry. Based in one of the most beautiful houses in London; Hampton Court Studio is unique in that it is a Film Academy with a major influence on our Make up Department with Celebrity Hair & Make up Stylist's to tutor all our students up and coming into the Film,TV & Theatre Industry

Week 1-

Introduction to Hampton Court Studios

The role of a professional Make-up Artist

Face analysis, shapes, understanding of colour pigments

The correct way to apply foundations

Contouring/correctional make-ups

Hands on with the students to create the perfect ‘canvas’ for any make-up

Make-up Demonstration

Eye and lip correction techniques

Celebrity make-up styles

Make-up for TV presenters/ Newsreaders

Full looks

Week 2-

Basic hairstyling

Covering- Blow drying, tonging, straightening, rollering, how to create a ‘chignon’, step by step celebrity styles.

Full looks in Hair and Make-up

We offer students the chance to build up their portfolios with free professional photographers

All successful students are awarded the HCS "Media Make-up and Hairstyling Diploma"
