Course content:

Units 1,2 & 3 are completed at AS Level

Unit 4

Assessment procedure:

Units 4 and 5 written examination 1 hour 30 minutes
Six semi-structured questions. Two questions will be set on each of the three areas of study.
Students must answer two questions out of the six.

Unit 6 written examination 2 hours
Section A: One compulsory exercise
Section B: Answer one essay question out of four.

Progression opportunities:
Higher Education At University Geography can be combined with a wide variety of subjects such as Environmental Management, Sports Studies, Business Studies, Computer Studies, Geology, History, Transport Planning and Archaeology.
Geography can lead to working in the Environmental field, the Environment Agency. Also Town and Country Planning and surveying are options. Geography graduates can work in Education in both Primary and Secondary schools.
