Not one for the faint hearted or people who "dont know what else to do so i might as well go to college"... You have to be prepared for a serious amount of workload, many many hours of study and commitment to finishing the course. You will struggle if you think that this course can be done easily, you must go into it with your eyes open and be prepared to work hard. On the up side, finishing the course and gaining that all important offer for uni was worth all the hard work. The staff at Llanelli are on the whole very good, one or two exceptions made the course harder than it needed to be but that might be down to myself not liking their teaching methods so personal opinion . Essay writing will become second nature to you and the ability to research effectivly is another skill i have aquired. Remember...this course is hard work, we had a 66% drop out of students who couldn't complete for one reason or another.
