What will I do on this course?

In the first year you will study two units:

Unit 1: Planning and financing a business
· Starting a business. The challenges and issues of starting a business, enterprise, entrepreneurs
· Financial planning â€" essential financial concepts needed to start
a business including: calculating costs, revenues, profits, using
break-even analysis and cash flow forecasting.
Unit 2: Managing a business
· Finance
· People in business
· Operations management
· Marketing and competition.
In year two you will study
two units:
Unit 3: Strategies for success
· Functional objectives and strategies
· Financial strategies and accounts
· Marketing strategies
· Operations strategies
· Human resource strategies.
Unit 4: The business environment and change
· Corporate aims and objectives
· Assessing change in a business environment
· Managing change.

How will I be assessed?
A combination of coursework and examinations.
At A2 Level there is no coursework just exams.
