A Level Physics

This course builds on GCSE Physics concepts, and is predominantly for 16-19 year olds who have an interest in the physical world, the observable universe and the laws that govern them. It is for those who have an interest in current developments and are excited by seeing how the concepts connect and lead on from the fundamental ideas in physics. You should be the type of person who gains satisfaction from working hard and thinking deeply about things as well as being able to undertake practical work that shows the practical reality of concepts. Students need to write scientific descriptions well, show initiative and be prepared to discuss and debate.
