About this course

AAT Foundation or equivalent qualification or appropriate experience within an accounting role. To apply, complete an application form as soon as possible. You will then be invited to the College for an interview and an English and Maths Assessment (BKSB). If you are successful a letter will be sent to confirm this.

Who is this course for?
This course is aimed at learners who have successfully completed foundation level and wish to progress onto Technician level.

What will I learn?
Learners will prepare financial accounts and learn how to incorporate costing effectively into a business. Learners will also prepare relevant year/month end reports for management and external agencies. Modules include: · Costing-Management Accounting · Financial Accounting · Preparing Reports and Returns

Assessment
There is an end of year exam in AAT Intermediate (3 hours). Plus Skill Test throughout the year.

On Completion Achievement / Progression
Progression onto Technician stage, or potential to proceed onto ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA.
