Subjects Covered The subjects of the course are set in accordance with the Financial Skills Partnership (FSP) National Occupational Standards as follows: BTRN Bookkeeping Transactions BKCL Bookkeeping Controls ELCO Elements of Costing AVIAN Work Effectively in Finance – Synoptic Assessment to include units above UACS Using Accounting Software Assessment After the initial weeks of tuition you will complete computer based assessments set by the AAT. There is a programme of support and revision for these assessments and you will be fully equipped to achieve. Computer based assessments will be available on a regular basis on Monday afternoon and Tuesday or Thursday evening from October . The synoptic assessment must be completed following successful completion of the first 3 units and all assessments are marked by AAT. Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is available for all units except the synoptic assessment. On Completion Successful completion of the Level 2 Certificate gives entry to the Level 3 Diploma qualification, significantly enhancing your accountancy skills. Progression Successful completion of the Level 2 Certificate gives entry to the Level 3 Diploma qualification, significantly enhancing your accountancy skills.
