Entry requirements
It is necessary to have achieved the AAT Level 2 Certificate, a Level 2 accounting/book-keeping qualification or have equivalent work experience with a satisfactory result on AAT on-line skill check () plus Maths & English at level 2 grade c or above. You will be required to register with the AAT and instructions are given in the initial weeks of the course.

Subjects covered The subjects of the course are set in accordance with the Financial Skills Partnership (FSP) National Occupational Standards as follows: AVBK Advanced Bookkeeping FAPR Final Accounts Preparation MMAC Management Accounting Costing IDRX Indirect Tax EFTA Ethics for Accountants SPSH Spreadsheets for Accounting Assessment After the initial weeks of tuition you will complete computer based assessments set by the AAT. There is a programme of support and revision for these assessments and you will be fully equipped to achieve. Computer based assessments will be available on a regular basis on Monday afternoon and Tuesday or Thursday evenings from October . Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is available for some units but a pass rate of % can only be given.
