Introduction:
This course provides you with the knowledge and understanding to achieve competence in Advanced Manual Financial and Managerial Accounting.

Course Content:
The units you will study are as follows: -

• Contributing to the Management of Performance and Enhancement of Value
• Contributing to the Planning and control of resources
• Managing Systems and People in the Accounting Environment
• Drafting Financial Statements (accounting practice, industry and commerce)
• Preparing Personal Taxation Computations

Plus - Route A (Accounting Practice); Preparing Business Taxation Computations

Or Route B (Industry and Commerce); Operating a Cash Management and Credit Control System.

Assessment:
You will be assessed via central examinations and skills tests plus a 4,000 word written report for Managing Systems and People in the Accounting Environment

Careers & Progression Opportunities:
On successful completion of AAT NVQ 4 Accounting you may wish to progress to the further study with one of the Chartered Accountancy Bodies or Claim AAT Profession status.

How To Apply
You may need to have an informal interview with a Adult Admissions Adviser before enrolling on this course.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.
