ABE Certificate in Business Management

ABE Certificate in Business Management Introduces. Candidates who wish to undertake a Business Management program of shorter duration than the PGD-MBA or the Graduate Diploma in Business Management may enroll in the Graduate Certificate in Business Management. The objective of the Graduate Certificate is to provide a meaningful introductory study of the concepts of management, administration and management practice, and is structured to allow for different programs of study, including off-campus programs for employment and professional groups. The program requires that each candidate completes 6 modules consisting of 4 compulsory units and 2 electives. The Graduate Certificate is intended to be completed over 2 semesters full-time study or 4 semesters of part-time study. The program requires that each candidate complete 2 of the foundation subjects as well. Subjects are offered in a modular format. Applicants who wish to be awarded by ABE as well must complete 2 more modules. Applicants from non-degree backgrounds but with work experience are encouraged to apply for the Graduate Certificate, successful completion may lead to a Diploma. This course is very popular among International Students who have come from an Arts, I.T. or Science Background. The course is also pursued by many non-working adults who want to learn the basic skills in management. Entry Requirements: i) Non-degree applicants with significant work experience are encouraged to apply. ii) As well as a Minimum score of 5.0 in IELTS or equivalent.
Course Approval: The program of study for each student must be approved by the Course Coordinator. ABE Award: Applicants must register for external examinations with ABE.
