Recognise the need for data analysis as a prelude to setting up a database.
Identify the role of forms and develop additional form functionality.
Recognise the need for data validation to ensure accurate data capture, and make use of it.
Formulate complex queries to extract and manipulate data.
Produce reports which group and sort data, transforming data into information.
Use macros to automate functions and processes.

Each student has their own computer. Presentations will be made using computers, interactive whiteboard, overhead screen and printed notes. Step by step instruction, with demonstrations where appropriate, will help you grasp the concepts.
