Course programme

Core subjects: GCSE English Language GCSE English Literature GCSE Mathematics GCSE Science GCSE Citizenship Studies You will develop the academic skills, knowledge and understanding to enable you to progress to Level 3 study and pursue a university place leading to a professional career of your choice. The course runs at our Park Lane Campuses. You must be 19 years of age by 31st August in the year the course starts. You will be returning to education after a period of time spent at work, childcare or other activities. You may have acquired valuable skills and experience during this time. You do not need formal qualifications, but you must be able to show by your application and interview that you are able to benefit from studying at Level 2 (GCSE). GCSE qualifications are useful for entry to more advanced courses, both academic and vocational, and for going directly to employment. A significant number of students progress to the Access to Higher Education courses.
