ACCESS TO HE DIPLOMA (HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES)(2010/2011)
Study Method:
A wide range of teaching methods will be used, including discussion groups, project work, tutor-led sessions, as well as resource based learning.
Individual support is provided by a Personal Tutor, especially through the UCAS process.

Who the Course is For:
This course is for students who wish to develop the skills and competences necessary for accessing opportunities in Higher Education.Its special focus is on the Humanities and Social Sciences and would support students who wish to progress to the many specialist and inter-disciplinary degrees in this academic area.
Assessment:
Assessment is continuous throughout the year. You will complete essays, projects, practical assignments as well as tests.
All units are graded as a pass, merit or distinction and students must obtain at least 60 credits of which 45 must be at level 3.

This course will satisfy the minimum entry requirement for progression to Higher Education Colleges and Universities.
