This course is for anyone who has some acting experience but wants to develop their skills and work with a little more rigour. You will work with an experienced director on a range of performance material. You also have the opportunity to study and work toward a formal acting qualification offered by one of the leading acting examination boards, Trinity College London.

Under the guidance of your tutor, you can design your own pathway through the range of material. Introductory sessions will include reading and discussion of a variety of plays, including any suggestions by group members, leading to selection of appropriate monologues and or scenes for each student.

Technical skills that underpin the practice of acting will be integrated into the sessions, as each student develops their work and practice in preparation for the examination process.

Each student will consult with the tutor to ensure they take the appropriate examination(s) when they feel ready.
